The creation and alternation of day and night is the best gift that Allah has created for humans. God created the day for humans to work for a living and made the night a time to rest.

However, many of us often go against the laws of nature, such as working continuously at night and sleeping during the day. Many people think that the important thing is that 8 hours of sleep per day is not reduced.

Actually, the quality of sleep is far more important than the number of hours or duration of sleep. The quality of a person's sleep at night and during the day is not the same, even with the same number of hours of sleep.

It should be realized that the repair of damaged cell tissues in the body is generally carried out when resting or sleeping. So, if we often lack sleep or don't have good quality sleep, sooner or later it will disrupt the stability of our immune system and easily trigger disease.

A company leader who is often sleep deprived, will be less wise in leading his company or controlling his employees, because physical, mental and emotional quality can be greatly influenced by whether or not the quality of a person's sleep. The same goes for anyone of any profession.

It can be concluded that the quality of sleep greatly affects the level of quality of a person's work, regardless of profession, both teachers, students, entrepreneurs, farmers and so on. For this reason, everyone must optimize the quality of their sleep to achieve better success.

How to optimize the quality of our sleep?

Many people try to improve the quality of sleep in the wrong way, such as taking various sleeping pills, both traditional medicines and synthetic chemical drugs with a doctor's prescription. The use of sleeping pills is only beneficial for a while, but the use of sleeping pills cannot improve the quality of our sleep.

There are several ways you can do to optimize the quality of life as follows:

1. Do regular exercise at least once every two days until you sweat when you have trouble sleeping. Do regular exercise in the afternoon so that muscle relaxation is easy to form at night, so that it will make it easier to make you feel sleepy.

2. Reduce drinking lots of water before bed. It is better to drink two or four hours before going to bed, so that during sleep it is not disturbed to wake up to urinate at night.

3. Avoid consuming food at night before going to bed, preferably eating 4 hours before going to bed. If you still feel hungry, then eat only fruit. The habit of eating dense at bedtime will interfere with the quality of sleep. In addition, the food processing process will also be disrupted. When the body rests at night, the body's energy that should be used optimally to repair damaged tissue becomes not optimal, because some of it is drained to process food. This process causes the body to feel unrefreshed and achy when you wake up.

4. Pray every time we end our daily activities with a smile. Invite our bodies to smile even just a few moments before going to bed, because it will improve the quality of sleep and calm our minds.
